Thursday’s news on how the coronavirus pandemic is affecting sport.
Watford captain Troy Deeney is due to return to training with the Premier League club next week.
Deeney, 31, had refused to join his team-mates in the start of non-contact sessions as he did not want to put his baby, who has had breathing difficulties, “in more danger”.
He had also has raised concerns over the increased risk to black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) players.
Top-flight clubs have now agreed to resume contact training, but Watford are not expected to start the group sessions until next week.
