Three people have been arrested in connection with the seizure of €245,000 worth of cocaine at Dublin Airport.
Two men and a woman had arrived at the airport yesterday on a flight from mainland Europe when they were detained by Customs officers on suspicion of drug trafficking.
The three people, all aged in their 20s, had ingested around 280 pellets of cocaine (pending analysis). They were arrested and taken to Ballymun Garda Station.
The woman and one of the men have since been charged in relation to this incident and they are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice today. The other man remains in garda custody.
