While this costume change ultimately got the chop, Marvel undoubtedly has plenty more memorable Doctor Strange moments up its sleeve in the upcoming sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which was recently confirmed to have Spider-Man and Evil Dead director Sam Raimi at the helm.
Release date upheaval on account of the global coronavirus pandemic has seen the Doctor Strange sequel shift to March 25, 2022.
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo also recently discussed their keenness to bring the dramatic conclusion to the MCUs Infinity Saga Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame back to cinemas for an encore performance (once theyre open again, that is).
