Futures tied to the S&P 500 the technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite both advanced

U.S. stock futures rose Friday, signaling that an unsteady week on Wall Street might end on a firmer footing.
Futures tied to the S&P 500 ticked up 0.7% and futures for the technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.9%. Fresh losses for large tech stocks weighed on both gauges Thursday and put the Nasdaq on track to shed 3.5% for the week. That would be the indexs biggest one-week decline since the market crisis of mid-March.
