CEO says ‘these are the only layoffs we are planning’
LinkedIn will lay off about 960 workers, or around 6% of its workforce, as the Microsoft Corp.-owned professional networking site grapples with falling demand for recruitment due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The job cuts will be made across the companys global sales and talent acquisition organizations, LinkedIn Chief Executive Ryan Roslansky said in a note to employees, which was published on the companys website.
