A Moogle Medal in Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a Key Item found in a Shinra box during the Demo. It's unclear exactly what they'll be used for and how

You can find Moogle Medals by breaking Shinra Boxes and opening chests. Unfortunately, the contents of Shinra Boxes are random, so you’ll just have to break them and hope you get lucky. There are some chests in FF7 Remake that guarantee Moogle Medals, too. Follow along with our Walkthrough to find them.
In Chapter 8, there’s a guaranteed method to farm Moogle Medals. After completing the full Kids on Patrol side quest, make sure to visit their secret base. There, you can play a mini-game called Whack-a-Box. Every time you play, you’ll be awarded one Moogle Medal just for participating.
What are Moogle Medals Used For?[edit]
In Chapter 8 – Budding Bodyguard, you’ll encounter a kid dressed as a Moogle. He has a variety of wares, including a Silver Staff weapon for Aerith, unique accessories, and books specifically for each character that grants 10 SP points – the points spent on upgrading weapons.
How to Grind for Moogle Medals[edit]
Take on the A Verified Hero side quest (which you can unlock after completing Kids on Patrol). This will unlock the Whack-a-Box minigame. Each time you participate you’ll get a Moogle Medal, no matter how poorly you do! Be sure to get enough to buy out the shop and some extra for shopping in later chapters.
