Manchester United transfer target Jadon Sancho has been included in Borussia Dortmund’s squad for their pre-season training camp in Switzerland.
The Bundesliga side, who value the England winger at £108million, had previously indicated any potential deal would need to be concluded by today (August 10) in order to give them sufficient time to find a replacement before the start of the new season.
Sancho may have to wait a little longer to secure a move back to the Premier League
Sancho, 20, sparked rumours he could be closing in on a big-money move to Old Trafford when he was spotted in the UK over the weekend at a party with friends.
However, Dortmund’s director of media and communication, Sascha Fligge, insisted it had nothing to do with a transfer and the England international would report for first-team duties on Monday.
Its common and fine for players to go home before a training camp if theyre not risky, Fligge said.
Andros Townsend says Man United ‘will be getting a bargain’ if they sign Jadon Sancho for £108million
The same goes for Jadon [Sancho]. From our point of view, the pictures that have been shown to us so far do not violate.
Sancho is understood to have already agreed personal terms with United, but the two clubs are yet to come to an agreement over his asking price.
United are even willing to walk away from the transfer if Dortmund do not lower their demands, but the Germans are so far refusing to reduce their £108m asking price.
Former Birmingham City teenager Jude Bellingham has also been included in the Dortmund travelling party for their training camp in the Swiss spa town of Bad Ragaz.
