Eddie Hearn has not ruled out the possibility of working with UFC superstar Conor McGregor if he decides to end his retirement from combat sports.
The former two-weight world champion arguably became the biggest star in the fight game in 2017 when he faced Floyd Money Mayweather in the most lucrative bout ever witnessed.
Hearn told talkSPORT about his respect for Conor McGregor
Although unsuccessful in his professional boxing debut, The Notorious has continually talked about a return to the ring and even outlined his championship ambitions in January.
Despite returning to the octagon at UFC 246 after 15 months away with an emphatic 40-second knockout, McGregor retired from fighting for the third time in four years in June and it remains to be seen if a return will ever happen.
However, it seems as though there is one man who would be more than happy to welcome the Irishman back.
Hearn, who is launching Matchroom Boxings Fight Camp this Saturday night, revealed he is a huge fan of the 32-year-old and would love to work with him, providing the UFC president lets him.
The Irishman achieved more from MMA than anyone could have imagined

I think Mr Dana White has Conor McGregor nicely locked up for the next few years, Hearn told talkSPORTs Alex McCarthy.
I think Conor is great; he is such a character, such a personality, such a great fighter.
Hes never going to be a world champion boxer he can look after himself but taking all the octagon stuff away, theres a guy thats really revolutionised UFC and MMA.
So much character, so much personality he is just a great performer. He is a great self-promoter and I am a big Conor McGregor fan.
Busy morning doing my thing talking to @EddieHearn and checking out Fight Camp!

So who knows what the future holds? But I dont think youre going to see too much more of him now. Will he go back in the octagon or will he go back in the ring?
Good luck to him, I think he is fantastic for UFC, MMA or even boxing!
