Aston Villa have reportedly slapped an £80million price tag on Jack Grealish.
The Villa captain and boyhood fan helped keep his club in the Premier League by scoring in a 1-1 draw at West Ham on the final day of the season.
Grealish has made 186 appearances for Aston Villa
He has an enjoyed an impressive season on Villa’s return to the top-flight, netting eight goals and registering six assists,  and is believed to be a transfer target for Manchester United.
But he won’t be easy to prise away from Villa Park this summer after the club won their fight for survival.
The Mirror claim Villa co-owner Nassef Sawiris values Grealish at £80m, which could put off prospective suitors.
The 24-year-old midfielder signed a new five-year contract in September 2018 after almost joining Tottenham.
Villa boss Dean Smith remained coy on Grealishs future when asked by talkSPORT on Monday.
He joked: I gave him a few shots last night and got him to sign a new five-year contract. Its not been done yet it was written in Sambuca, Im not sure if it was mine or his!
It was a heavy night, Im not sure what time I got to bed, but I slept in my office back at the training ground. I did an Eddie Jones and slipped off so the lads didnt see me go!
But no, seriously, thats a chat for another day.
Jacks a wonderful lad and Ive got all the time in the world for him and Im so pleased that he scored the goal that kept us in the Premier League yesterday.
