McGoldrick, who netted a brace against Chelsea to keep Sheffield Uniteds European hopes alive, is the latest Premier League star to be racially targeted.
A 12-year-old boy was arrested by West Midlands Police for sending horrific racial abuse to Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.
The winger published screenshots of the messages, which included one calling him a black c***, on the morning of his sides 2-0 defeat by Aston Villa on Sunday.

The Premier League condemned the discriminatory abuse.
It said: This behaviour is completely unacceptable and the Premier League stands alongside @wilfriedzaha in opposing this, and discrimination in any form.
There is #NoRoomForRacism, anywhere.
