I fractured my sternum at rugby practice when I was a lot younger. I didn’t know it at the time so waited on the sidelines sitting down for practice to finish. Was in a fair bit of pain and out of nowhere a Border Collie just showed up, lay down and put their head in my lap. Will never forget that moment. She/he stayed with me until the finish of practice and a mate could take me to A&E.
