Evander Holyfield responded to Mike Tyson with a declaration of his own.
The Real Deal posted a video of him in the gym and signed off with ‘I’m back’ much like Tyson a day earlier.
Holyfield has been in the gym ahead of a comeback to the ring
Writing on Instagram, the 57-year-old Holyfield said: “My 1st week back in the gym and I feel great. I’m looking forward to stepping up my training sessions and intensity as I prepare for my fight. I told you I had something for you.”
Tyson, 53, has been undergoing a similarly intensive workout as rumours of a potential third fight – in an exhibition environment – continue to circulate.
When asked if hed be prepared to face Tyson again, Holyfield said he would.

He fought Mike Tyson twice in the 1990s, while Holyfield’s last professional fight was in 2011 against Brian Nielsen
Obviously people like to see the two best people. Some people didnt get the chance to see Mike and I. Everything is opinionated now about who the best is. I was the best of my era I felt.”
Tysons intention is to come back for charity bouts, though he has made it clear hell have serious intentions regardless.
When asked about feeling unstoppable in his prime, Tyson revealed: I feel unstoppable now.

Holyfield cemented his place as a boxing great when he emerged victorious in their first fight in 1996, beating Tyson against the odds.
However, the second in 1997 – known as ‘The Bite’ – is remembered more for Tyson’s decision to nibble on Holyfield’s ear resulting in a disqualification.
Many fans will be hoping the legends can finally complete the trilogy 23 years later.
