As we all continue to crave the return of live sport, plenty has happened during the break to keep us entertained.
From Roberto Firminos ‘no-look’ skill show in his garden to Stiliyan Petrov helping former Aston Villa teammate Gabriel Agbonlahor, talkSPORT.com has listed some of the highlights of the previous week…
Aymeric Laportes kindness
Aymeric Laporte is doing his bit to help people during the coronavirus pandemic
Laporte paid 5,000 (£4,350) for a 2012 Olympic outfit worn by late boxer Alexis Vastine in an auction to help raise money for French health workers, before returning the item to his family.
Vastine died at the age of 28 when two helicopters crashed while filming a French reality TV show in Argentina in March 2015.
Cyril Dumoulin, who organised he auction, said: When the facts speak more than words! Thank you @Laporte who won this auction with the wish to leave this outfit to his father! Your talent is great, your heart too !!!
Laporte replied: Its nice thank you especially to you for your action against the virus and these auctions that help those who need it most. See you soon.
C’est gentil merci surtout à toi pour ton action face au virus et ces enchères qui aident ceux qui en ont le plus besoin à bientôt https://t.co/9s1DUak55z

Stiliyan Petrov helping his former Aston Villa teammate Gabriel Agbonlahor
Last month, Agbonlahor announced on social media he was self-isolating after coming down with coronavirus symptoms.
He fully recovered… with an assist from Petrov.
Agbonlahor, who played with Petrov at Aston Villa, told talkSPORT: My good friend Stiliyan Petrov and his wife live about five minutes away and kept leaving stuff on my doorstep, vitamins and different things.
I love Stiliyan, hes a good guy and I owe a lot to him, and my next door neighbour who was helping a lot of as well.
It was good to get over it and I wouldnt wish it on anyone!

Wayne Rooney reminiscing over his iconic tweet
It appeared to take Rooney a bit of time to get used to Twitter.
In April 2011, he sent out a public tweet saying: Hi rio do u want picking up in the morning pal.
We can only assume the tweet was meant to be sent as a private message to his then Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand.
It has always been brought up again and again by football fans on the social media app – and Rooney has joined in on the fun.
On Thursday, quoting his iconic tweet, he said: 9 years ago today. Time flies..
Roberto Firmino’s no-look goals in his garden
Firminos no-look goals have become a trademark of his over the years.
And he is putting in the practice during lockdown.
The Liverpool striker slotted four no-look shots past his wife in his garden in a video uploaded on his Instagram Story.
Liverpool fans will be craving to see more Firmino magic when football returns.
British boxer delivers meals to NHS workers
Unbeaten British boxer Sam Cox works for Powerday, a waste management company, who have teamed up with London Irish rugby club to help workers at hospitals and medical facilities in London receive food as they continue to battle COVID-19.
The bantamweight, who has been undefeated in his first five fights, told talkSPORT: We have full PPE provided by Powerday; gloves, masks etcetera.
Sam Cox is a 5-0 bantamweight helping deliver meals to NHS staff
Basically, we have a contract with each hospital, we turn up outside and in some hospitals the nurse will come down and pick it up off us.
And there are between 50-100 meals per hospital depending on what they need and then others we deliver it to reception or give it to someone who comes down. But we are pretty much in the thick of it.
Stay safe, Sam!
Sheffield United thanking the NHS
Following the weekly show of support for the NHS on Thursday at 8pm, Sheffield United expressed their gratitude in a unique way.
The Premier League club had a message projected on to the Bramall Lane pitch saying NHS THANK YOU.
It was another reminder of how appreciative everyone is of the NHS efforts during these testing times.
Raheem Sterlings message to Trent Alexander-Arnold after losing on FIFA 20
Sterling and Alexander-Arnold met in the ePremier League Invitational semi-finals on FIFA 20.
Despite being 2-0 down with 15 minutes to play, Alexander-Arnold secured a 3-2 victory over his England teammate.
The Liverpool defender must be used to heroic comebacks by now following last years 4-0 win against Barcelona, after being 3-0 down from the first leg, to reach the Champions League final.
And Sterling knows it, too.
He tweeted: Swear this guy really knows how to complete comebacks… good luck in the final bro.
Memphis Depay’s rap tribute to Virgil van Dijk
Depay paid tribute to Van Dijk in the form of a rap song.
The pair are two of the Netherlands best players, but have had contrasting experiences in the Premier League.
Depay failed to make an impact at Manchester United in a two-year spell, while Van Dijk starred for Southampton before helping Liverpool win a sixth Champions League trophy.
And Depay cheekily ended his song by wishing Van Dijk had joined United instead of Liverpool!
Virgil van Dijk is regarded as one of the world’s best defenders
He rapped: It is on. Captain of the nation, What move will he make? And I didnt forget, The days in the rain. He is a leader, woah. He is the boss on the field,
He comes in with corners. Header, With great force, woah. He doesnt take anything from anyone, just money. Van Dijk, he is everyones Dutch hero. Van Dijk, watch out, he strikes.
You know, we dont lie, Dutchman, he is fly. Van Dijk, man. I wish you signed man, not for Liverpool, but for Man United.
The Rock loves Triple H
The Game was recently honoured for his 25 years service to WWE with a special message from fellow legend The Rock.
Having made his WWE debut against Triple H at Survivor Series in 1996, the former wrestler, whose real name is Dwayne Johnson, said:
Ive got to tell you, man, from the time I first got into the company, you, from my very first match in Survivor Series at The Garden.
You were so good to me, so welcoming to me then, but also I knew of everybody in the locker room, that there was a hunger in your eyes.
I knew that we were going to be competitors, and we were going to compete, and work our asses off, and thats exactly what we did, and thats exactly why we jelled together, why we had incredible chemistry.
