The alleged knifeman was midway through his overnight shift when he stabbed the 44-year-old victim in Sydney.

A security guard who allegedly fatally stabbed a building manager during an overnight shift is on the run.
Mohammed Bashir Zaheer, 44, owns six apartments in the Pyrmont complex, outside which he was killed on Thursday morning.

Witnesses have told detectives they saw Mohammed and another man arguing before he was attacked.
The killer remains on the run.

He is believed to be a security guard working the overnight shift at the complex.
Acting Superintendent Sean Heany said the man is very dangerous.
He has been involved in the death of this man so we consider him very dangerous and the public should not approach him, he said.
The killer was seen getting into a white Holden with the license plates AM23CQ and driving off.
Hes described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, between 35 and 40 years old, and was wearing a blue suit.
