The 33-year-old is remanded in custody after a week-long manhunt, telling a judge he is withdrawing from prescription drugs.

A man charged with the murder of Melbourne woman Ellie Price has been remanded until September.
The 26-year old woman was found dead in a South Melbourne apartment on May 4.
Ricardo Barbaro, 33, was arrested by NSW Police on Thursday after a week-long manhunt, and extradited to Victoria.
Mr Barbaro fronted the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday, where he told the Magistrate he was withdrawing from prescription drugs Xanax and Valium.
Police are unsure of the exact date Ellie Price died but believe it was between April 29 and May 4.
Mr Barbaro has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance in September.
