Street Talk understands investment banks Bank of America and Goldman Sachs were crossing fund managers on the offer on Sunday evening and were preparing to launch the raising as early as Monday morning.
Sources said the placement would be priced around the $30 mark. Perpetual’s shares last traded at $33.61.
