An AFP spokesperson said an officer was hit by a car during an arrest, with the car then shot at by police.

Three men have faced a Sydney court after a dramatic arrest in the city’s inner west last night, where an Australian Federal Police officer was hit by a car, which was then shot at.
Jose Moreno Gomez, 50, was arrested in a car park at Strathfield Plaza alongside Jhonattan Giraldo Moreno, 28, and William David Franco Riano, 22, as part of a federal police investigation into drug supply.
It will be alleged in court that the trio offered to supply about 15 kilograms of cocaine.
In a statement, an AFP spokesperson confirmed three people had been arrested “as part of an ongoing investigation”, and during this activity on Friday night “an AFP officer has been struck by a vehicle that refused police direction to stop”.
“As a result of this, an AFP officer discharged their firearm at the vehicle,” the spokesperson said.
