However, The Scottish Sun claim Arsenal have managed to cut Tierneys isolation short in time for the Man City match.
There is still hope that Tierney could play against Man City
On Thursday, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta insisted he would be extremely disappointed if Tierney did not play.
He said: We have tried to do all the right things to keep the players safe.
We know the history with the player and what happened in the last few months with him as well.
So we are very reassured that there is no risk for him to be involved with us. That is the case we are defending really strongly with the authorities.
I will be extremely disappointed if he is not able to play at the weekend.
In other good news, Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to be fit having missed international duty with Gabon due to a sprained ankle.

Guardiola said: “I don’t think it is [serious], but the next games I think he will be out. We will see.”
