Newcastle manager Steve Bruce has told talkSPORT hell call Simon Jordan to tell him what really went on after his stinging criticism of turd Ryan Fraser.
The talkSPORT pundit laid into new Magpies signing Fraser over his departure from Bournemouth last season, which saw the winger refuse a short-term contract to complete the suspended and extended campaign with the Cherries.
After eight years at Bournemouth, Fraser has embarked on a new challenge in the north east
The south coast club were then relegated without one of their best players, who didnt want to put his next move in jeopardy by playing beyond his contract expiration on June 30.
Fraser then signed for Newcastle in a free transfer last week, but he’s been widely criticised for deciding to jump ship during Bournemouths relegation battle.
That includes the scathing criticism from Jordan, who branded the 26-year-old a wretched individual and a turd on talkSPORT last week.
But Bruce has defended his new player and hit back at Jordans comments, having worked with the former Crystal Palace owner during his time in charge of the Eagles.
Newcastle signing Ryan Fraser a wretched individual and a turd for ditching Bournemouth’s relegation fight, says Simon Jordan
I’ve got the highest respect for Simon and his opinions, the Newcastle boss told talkSPORT on Monday.
He’s arguably – on the radio now – one of the best one out there for his views and his approach to it. But he’s not always right.
He should hear the other side of the story and Ryan’s side of the story and then maybe he wouldn’t be so forthright.
