Lots of people were going in and out of the camps, it was hardly as organized as many people think. Women could be hidden away from doing hard labour, given more rations from saintly prisoners, or have favours done for them/be in a privileged position to receive more food for baby to survive. Women could have also been newly pregnant upon arrival to the camp, and liberated around the time of birth – some women dont show til the mid 2nd trimester or beyond. Most children are also born at night, so they would have given birth in the sleeping area- and given birth to probably an underweight child which eases labour (I gave birth to a preemie and while I didnt do it quietly, I could have to save our lives). Also, by 1945 things were loosening up in the camps, survival was more likely for certain places. Horrific circumstances, but definitely not impossible.
